Burnley Bridge Business Park

  • Eshton purchased the 90 acre brownfield site unconditionally with multiple let and vacant buildings
  • Achieved planning permission for over 750,000sqft of Industrial accommodation and 9 acres of residential development
  • A phased demolition of the existing buildings was undertaken by Eshton to prepare the site for new development
  • Eshton secured both ERDF and Growing Places funding to implement the first phase of infrastructure which included a bridge over the Leeds Liverpool canal linking the site directly to the motorway
  • As part of Phase 1 of the development we speculatively delivered over 100,000 sq ft of space both through new build and refurbished accommodation
  • Phase 2 of Burnley Bridge saw the construction of a 544,000sqft 19m high new National Distribution Centre on behalf of Exertis PLC
  • Eshton then constructed and sold a bespoke 92,000sqft high bay warehouse to Fagan and Whalley
  • The 9 acre plot, known as Titanium Park, was subsequently sold to a private investment fund after we successfully amended the residential planning consent
